Seasonal Red - Multicoloured Sunrise

Description

Featherweight, wild and brimming with brambly fruit and natty goodness. Not your average South Australian Shiraz but uniquely charming. Never have I ever... tasted Shiraz like this! Dark and brambly fruit with a nice grippy edge indicative of the variety but weight wise it has more in common with Pinot or Gamay. The palate is light as a feather and bursting with berries and an almost prickly energy. This is extremely drinkable and at just 10% it’s the perfect bottle for breakfast, lunch and questionable drinking games! The Other Right is a fantastic artisan producer from McLaren Vale. Russian-born winemaker Alex Schulkin and his partner Galit are crafting clean, premium, natural wines from organically vineyards in the Vale and Adelaide Hills. The wines are excellent examples of quality with a natural philosophy. Alex's day job is as a researcher at the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI). He's taken what he's learnt there and channelled it into his label making his no-sulphur wines show a cleanliness and liveliness that is a cut above. Jubilant, vibrant and irrepressibly irreverent, you'll never know what to expect from The Other Right.

Ingredients

Been a while since we’ve made a mischievous one. We didn’t make a Pinot this year, but this could be one. Featherlight at 10.something percent alcohol, loosely grippy, full of life. It feels a bit like falling into a blackberry bush - you can’t get out, but you don’t want to, either. Give it a bit of air - it tastes even better the day after. Blend : Shiraz (100%) ABV : 10% Closure : Cork Drink Until : 2026 Bottle Size : 750ml
