Empire Tonic faithfully reproduces the Major’s tonic recipe, using local ingredients and cinchona bark, the authentic source of quinine, imported from India, to give EMPIRE TONIC its unique complex flavour, distinctive aroma and rich colour. Just like the Major, we handcraft EMPIRE TONIC in small batches, using neither preservatives nor additives and around 30% less sugar than other tonics.
Dosage: using sparkling mineral water, dilute syrup to taste (15-30ml), pouring over ice cubes and finish with a wedge of lime or grapefruit. Jolly good with a slug or two of superior gin.
