A taste sensation. Originating from Egypt, Dukkah is a coarsely ground dry mixture of nuts and spices. Ingredients: roasted almonds, roasted sesame seed, dessicated coconut, coriander seed, fennel seed, cummin seeds, salt, spices, sugar. There are a number of great ways to use it in the kitchen: With bread dunked into Olive oil then dipped into the dukkah. Fold it into your favorite hummus or dip. Sprinkle it on flatbread with a little olive oil and bake until crispy. Scatter it on top of fried eggs in the morning. Stir it into whole grains or pasta dishes for a different take on quick lunch or dinner. Toss your favorite roasting vegetables with a generous spoonful of dukkah and olive oil and roast until crispy and fragrant. Whisk into your homemade jar of salad dressing for a different take on a familiar flavor.

A South Australian owned and operated Family business in the picturesque Adelaide Hills. Bremercafe began in 1996 as a restaurant in the wine growing district of Langhorne Creek in South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula positioned just over the Bremer River. Dip platters proved very popular on the menu so the decision was made to move into wholesale manufacture. Bremercafe, 14 years later, is proudly owned and operated by Bela Janosi and George Haffner with the help of many loyal and local Adelaide Hills staff. Bela Janosi has vast experience in the South Australian gourmet retail and wholesale food industry. George Haffner has been involved in South Australian retail for the past 20 years.
